Artists Bio

Hollie Seidel first worked as a botanical illustrator at Old Woman Creek in Huron, OH, where she chronicled the local flora and fauna while floating in a canoe. Hollie was the illustrator and cartoonist for The Eclectic magazine.  She primarily works in pen and ink, watercolor, and acrylic paint.

She has shown her paintings and drawings at The Gund Gallery at Kenyon College, LVNG Magazine, Janer Gallery 81, Delaware Valley Arts Alliance, Coral Springs Museum of Art, and most recently at The Idea Kitchen in Larchmont, NY.  Her work is in many private collections.

Hollie is originally from Port Washington, NY, and currently lives in Astoria, NY.  She was a studio art major at Kenyon College, and has also studied at The Lacoste School of the Arts, Cornell University, The School of Visual Arts, and the Art Students League.
